HICKORY, N.C. – Margaret Morcum Belvill died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, at Alterra Sterling House. She was 92.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton, N.C. A graveside service is scheduled Monday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Rosenburg, Texas.

Mrs. Belvill was born July 23, 1914, in Butte, Mont., to Jack and Agnes Fox Morcum.

She was a member of St. Aloysius Church in Hickory and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Melba Chimmalera and a grandson.

She is survived by daughters Barbara Tonning of Umatilla and Arlene Pierce of Eagle, Idaho; son John Belvill of Hickory, N.C., and seven grandchildren.
