HERMISTON — A class on how to twist and make balloon animals is being offered free of charge in Hermiston.

The session is Tuesday, Aug. 24, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Hermiston Community Center, 415 S. Highway 395. All ages are welcome.

Participants will have a chance to win a free beginner’s kit. Those who become proficient are invited to join the CityFest crew to make balloons on Aug. 28 during the Greater Hermiston CityFest with Andrew Palau.
