Fairgrounds go to the dogs

The Umatilla County Fairgrounds was crawling with dogs and their young masters Wednesday during the 4-H dog show. A number of champions and reserve champions received ribbons:
Juniors – pre-novice: Capriana Meinke, champion; Darion Burgess, reserve champion. Showmanship: Janay Woodward, champion; Crystal Meinke, reserve champion.
Intermediates – pre-novice: Savannah Whitaker, champion; novice: Madison Hankel, champion. Showmanship: Hankel, champion; Mariah Keifer, reserve
Seniors – pre-novice: Rebecca Walker, champion; Courtney Long, reserve champion. Novice: Aaron Boettcher, champion; Grayson Wallis, reserve champion. Grad. novice: Whitney Meulink, champion; Kayla Kannard, reserve champion. Showmanship: Long, champion; Kannard, reserve champion.
High Point Obedience – Capriana Meinke, grand champion; Darion Burgess, reserve grand champion; Rebecca Walker, reserve grand champion.
Master Showman – Kannard, grand champion; Keifer, reserve grand champion.
