Possible world record

Ron Campbell might have a world-record fish on his hands.

The Pendleton man caught this 9.67 pound kokanee at Wallowa Lake around 6 a.m. Sunday.

The current record holder is a 9-pound-6-ounce kokanee caught in Okanagan Lake in British Columbia.

Campbell is waiting for official word from the International Game Fish Association on whether or not he’s set the record.

The East Oregonian will have a full fish story in Tuesday’s edition.
