BOARDMAN — Community members are invited to celebrate the people who make Boardman a special place to live and work during the 35th annual Distinguished Citizens Awards Banquet.

Hosted by the Boardman Chamber of Commerce, the event is March 7, 6 p.m. at the SAGE Event Center, 101 Olson Road. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased through March 1 via bit.ly/413v9Z8.

In addition to the award presentations, the evening includes a catered dinner, drinks and a live auction. Proceeds from the event will support the chamber’s scholarship fund for Riverside High School seniors.
