PENDLETON — People who love animals and are willing to learn are invited to apply as board members for Pioneer Humane Society-Pendleton Animal Welfare Shelter. No experience is necessary.

A nonprofit organization, PAWS operates Pendleton’s shelter and animal welfare programs. The Pioneer Humane Society encourages people representing different backgrounds to apply.

Board members serve three-year terms. The Pioneer Humane Society Board of Directors meets the second Thursday of each month. For the time and location of meetings, call 541-276-0181.
