PENDLETON — Jackalope Jamboree in Pendleton drew approximately 5,000 people.

Alexi Tedford, publicist of Jackalope Jamboree, provided the figure for the three-day musical festival in Pendleton, which completed its fifth year June 27-29 at the Happy Canyon Arena.

Jackalope Jamboree co-organizer Rian Beach said this year was one of the festival’s best experiences to date, with more than 30 artists performing.

“We take immense pride in contributing to this vibrant scene and showcasing the incredible up-and-coming talents and established artists who have graced our lineup,” Beach said.

This year’s festival added the Queens Barn, a stage to showcase local musicians such as James Dean Kindle and His Country Combo and a special morning yoga session with Acosia Red Elk.

Behind the scenes it took more than 20 local sponsors and more than 25 vendors to help contribute to the event. Beach credited sponsors and local community groups that volunteer for making Jackalope Jamboree possible.

Although the festival is over, the team has begun working on next year’s lineup.

“We have already begun identifying artists for next year’s events and started making offers,” Beach said.

Beach said next year’s festival likely will feature some artists from previous lineups but will continue to spotlight emerging artists from the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Jackalope Jamboree on July 11 on Instagram announced the 2025 event is June 26-28.
