HERMISTON — Holiday shoppers still have a few days to enter the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas Cash Blitz to win a $1,000 cash prize.

In its second year, the campaign encourages local spending with the winner cashing in with extra money during the holiday season. To enter, participants must spend at least $20 at merchants who belong to the chamber. Submit receipts by Monday, Dec. 16 — including your name and phone number — in the box at the chamber office, 630 S. Highway 395, or email them to info@hermistonchamber.com.

Whether you spend money at local restaurants, retail stores or service providers — if they belong to the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce (check membership at www.hermistonchamber.com), submit your receipts for a chance to win. Chamber Director Val Hoxie said more than 200 entries were submitted in 2023 during the inaugural event, with Kiersa Torre’s receipt from Hermiston Stadium 8 Cinema being drawn as the winner.
