Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution in Pendleton is using drone technology to prevent people from using drones to drop contraband into the prison.

UMATILLA COUNTY — Job seekers are invited to learn more about employment opportunities with the Oregon Department of Corrections during a pair of events at Two Rivers Correctional Institution and Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution.

The meet and greet at Two Rivers is Wednesday, Dec. 11, 3-6 p.m. at 82911 Beach Access Road, Umatilla; and the EOCI event is Wednesday, Dec. 18, 3-5 p.m. at 2500 Westgate. Both events include tours and an opportunity to meet staff and ask questions.
