Walla Walla Community College hires new vice president

Walla Walla Community College has hired a new vice president of administrative services, the college announced in a news release Friday, Dec. 15.
Patrick Sisneros, former chief operating officer for Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton will begin working in the position on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
“Pat Sisneros brings a strong commitment to the community college mission and experience,” WWCC President Chad Hickox said in the release. “He has the right background to help WWCC advance innovative programs and operations that will benefit our students, employees and community members.”
According to the release, Sisneros has spent the past year as a business management instructor with WWCC’s Corrections Education Program, having also worked as an instructor and administrator at Everett Community College and as a partner in a family-owned franchised pizza restaurant.
Sisneros earned a bachelor’s degree at Santa Clara University and a master’s degree at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to serve students at a college I’ve long admired and hope to bring my Hispanic heritage and life experiences to benefit students representing diverse backgrounds,” Sisneros said.
