The steering committee to rebuild Pioneer Park playground is excited to announce that the $5,000 community challenge issued by the Pendleton Foundation Trust has been met.

Approximately $3,800 was raised through a Nov. 24 benefit concert at Hamley Slickfork Saloon and pushed us over the amount needed.

Special thanks go to Hamley & Co for providing the venue, Bushman Brothers and Eleventh Street Incident for playing at the event, to NW Self Defense Products for providing security, and to Hamley managers Isis Miller and Lori Bright and staff for event support.

Pendleton AAUW and the members of the project steering committee appreciate the communitys enthusiasm and support for this rebuild effort. Thanks to those who attended the concert and for the private donations already received.

We appreciate Pendleton Foundation Trust for kickstarting the fundraising campaign with their $5,000 donation. We will provide updates on future events, fundraising challenges, and project timelines as we move forward on this community rebuild effort. Thanks again for the support.
