PENDLETON Thanks to donations from the community and local businesses, West Hills Intermediate School will get spruced up this weekend. Volunteers are welcome to help with the work party, which is Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the school, 1700 N.W. 15th Drive, Pendleton.

Were trying to beautify our school, said Parent Club President Mary Driskel.

The event will include planting shrubs, general clean up and painting part of the buildings front. Driskel invites anyone interested in helping with the effort to show up on Saturday.
