Arthur Robinson and Evelyn Schomp were married June 19, 1948, at the Congregational Church in Condon, Ore.

In their early marriage they lived on a ranch near Condon, where Art worked. They then moved to Fossil, where they had a service station, tire store and bulk oil distributing business. They moved to La Grande in 1968, and to Pendleton in 1974, where they owned wholesale beverage distributing businesses.

The Robinsons have three children, Curt and Craig Robinson and Caren Reed. Their children will be honoring their parents’ 70th anniversary with a small private reception.
