MONDAY
A Hermiston man at 4:46 a.m. reported the theft of a Sirius satellite radio worth $200 from his vehicle while it had been unlocked earlier at Nookie’s Bistro & Spirits, 125 N. First St., Hermiston.
A Hermiston father at 6:14 a.m. reported the theft of his daughters five skateboards from the front porch in the 600 block of West Fulton Avenue.
Icy conditions contributed to three crashes on state highways in Umatilla County in about an hour Monday morning, Oregon State Police reported. Only one person suffered minor injuries.
A Pendleton woman was in the first crash, when she rolled a 2001 Toyota 4-Runner around 7:35 a.m. on westbound Interstate 84 near Milepost 202. Police reported the vehicle rolled twice onto the shoulder of the road. An Pendleton ambulance transported her to St. Anthony Hospital for minor injuries.
Then an Elgin woman crashed a 2009 GMC pickup at about 8:20 a.m. in the westbound lane of state Route 204 near Milepost 1. The driver lost control on an icy corner, police reported, and the vehicle slid off the road and rolled multiple times. Emergency workers freed the woman from the wreck. She refused transport.
And a Walla Walla woman at about 8:36 a.m. lost control of a Ford Taurus on the slick surface of the eastbound lane of I-84 near Milepost 220. The car slid into the median and struck a rock wall, according to police. The driver stated she was uninjured but couldnt get out of her vehicle. Medics and firefighters arrived to help, and a tow-truck driver gave her a ride.
Pendleton police at 10:46 a.m. received a report of illegal sales of prescription drugs that happened a month ago. The caller told dispatchers the name of the suspect who sold morphine and oxicodone for $80 and $100.
A Hermiston man at 2:29 p.m. reported the theft of fuel, snowshoes and a tow rope from his vehicle in the 800 block of East Kennedy Avenue. He said he saw a blue 1990s Chevrolet pickup with a tool box in the back drive away from the location.
A Hermiston resident at 3:06 p.m. reported someone stole mail from the 900 block of East Newport Avenue.
A Pendleton woman at 4:31 p.m. reported someone shot out the back window of her 2002 Toyota Camry while she was dropping off her child in the 1900 block of Prickly Pear Drive, Hermiston.
An employee of Pik A Pop, 1010 Sixth St., Umatilla, at 8:46 p.m. reported a man had stolen numerous items from the store at about 7:30 p.m. The employee said the man had placed items in the pockets of his jacket and pants. The employee described the culprit a short Hispanic man in his 30s, with an average build. The man was a regular customer, the employee noted.
A Morrow County sheriffs deputy noticed a person in dark clothing around 10:10 p.m. run into a field behind the Boardman Police Department. Boardman police caught the person and determined he had committed a burglary in the 200 block of Kinkade Road.

Hermiston police arrested Timothy Alan Jones, 34, no known address, for violation of Umatilla County local supervisory warrant, possession of methamphetamine and second-degree theft.
