OBITUARY: Kathryn G. Schleede-Thompson

RICHLAND, Wash. Kathryn G. Schleede-Thompson, 56, of Pendleton died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Wash. A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. at the home of Ann and Jerry Stump, 73576 Tauts Lane, Pendleton.
Mrs. Schleede-Thompson was born Dec. 6, 1954, in Pendleton to Wallace and Barbara (Taylor) Schleede. She graduated from Gem State Academy in Caldwell, Idaho, and attended Blue Mountain Community College and Central Oregon Community College. She married James G. Thompson in 1983 at Emigrant Springs State Park.
She was a lifelong resident of Pendleton, where she volunteered at Washington School and worked at Blue Hawk Beads.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Thompson, son Micah Thompson and daughter Erin Thompson-Wing, all of Pendleton; mother Barbara Schleede of Pendleton; sisters Rebecca Sylvester of Sun River and Linda Hansen of Pendleton; brother Richard Schleede of Walla Walla; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father.
