•A man at 8:48 a.m. told Umatilla police someone at 2:30 a.m. stole his car on Bridgeport Avenue, and he chased them but was unable to stop them. He said he did not call the police at that time but not wanted to sign it as stolen.
•A caller at 8:51 a.m. told Pendleton police a white female with blond hair and brown coat was walking in traffic and talking to herself on Southeast Court Avenue near 14th Street. Police did not find her.
•A Heppner mother at 9:56 a.m. reported a gray pit bull dog went after her daughter on Northwest Jones Street. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy warned the dog owner and said next time there would be a citation.
•A Milton-Freewater resident at 11:15 a.m. reported the theft of her backpack and radar unit from her vehicle on the 100 block of Southeast Seventh Street. About five hours later, another caller told police about the theft of several power tools from his vehicle on the 200 block of Southeast Seventh Avenue, Milton-Freewater.
•A Pendleton-area man at 11:38 a.m. reported a man he knows took a dark blue GMC pickup from an address on South Cold Springs Road.
•A female a little before noon appeared to be high and tried to hide from people in shrubs at the Pendleton Denny’s restaurant on Tutuilla Road.
•And at about 12:20 p.m. an intoxicated man urinated in the bushes at a Farmers Insurance, 1902 S.W. Frazer Ave., Pendleton.
•Pendleton police at 12:25 p.m. received information from Sherwood Heights Elementary School, 3111 S.W. Marshall Ave., that a suspicious man contacted a student at Southwest 30th Street and Isaac Avenue. A school staffer asked for extra police patrols after school.
•Continuing a theme in Pendleton, an intoxicated man on his mid to late 50s at about 2:30 p.m. walked in and out of traffic by Walker’s Furniture, 1907 S.W. Emigrant Ave., then headed north on Southwest 20th Street.
•A 50-year-old woman fell from a porch at about 3:20 p.m. on Gravel Pit Lane, Irrigon, injuring her knee and hip. An ambulance took her to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston.
•A Stanfield woman at 3:28 p.m. reported she was moving out of a residence on West Ball Avenue and her landlord placed some of their furniture in the garbage. She asked to speak to an officer.
•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office at 3:55 p.m. received a report of animal neglect at a location on Tum A Lum Road, Milton-Freewater. A caller said a goat there had a broken leg that was untreated, and a horse had worms.
•A woman at 5:37 p.m. reported four boys at Northwest 11th Avenue and 11th Street, Pendleton, threw rocks and one hit and damaged the driver’s side door of her car. She said the boys bolted in different directions when the rock struck.
•A Helix man at 6:02 p.m. reported his former boss keeps driving slowly by his residence. He asked law enforcement for options on dealing with this.
•A Milton-Freewater caller at 9:25 p.m. reported the possible theft of one of her dogs from her residence on Lawson Street.
•And once more in Pendleton, a female wearing a bandanna around her head and a blue and white jacket walked east in the middle of road near the 1800 Southeast Court Avenue and cussed at drivers.
•Milton-Freewater police arrested Shawnessy Kay Francis Sullivan, 20, of 202 N.W. Fifth Ave., Milton-Freewater, for fourth-degree assault, disorderly conduct and possession of methamphetamine.
