MISSION — A continuing discussion on the Boardman to Hemingway Transmission Line and how it may impact exiting historic trails is planned in Mission.

A meeting of the Oregon Historic Trails Advisory Council is Sunday at 9 a.m. at Tamastslikt Cultural Institute, located near Wildhorse Resort & Casino.

Boise-based Idaho Power has proposed a 300-mile transmission line that will cross both farms and forest land between Boardman and Hemingway, Idaho. The council also will discuss potential damage to historic trails by a local natural gas power plant.
