Margaret Louise Quishenberry, 85, of Pendleton died April 15, 2015, in Kennewick, Wash. Visitation will be from 12 to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2015, at Pendleton Pioneer Chapel, Folsom-Bishop. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 25 at the Pendleton Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Margaret and her twin Helen were born July 25, 1929, in Peoria, Ill., to Henry G. and Hattie May (Davis) Leidig. The family moved from Illinois to Louisiana when the twins were about 2 ½ years old. She graduated high school in Louisiana. In 1942 the family moved from Louisiana to the Pacific Northwest settling in the Grandview, Wash., area. In 1947, she married James R. Quishenberry. In 1948 they moved to Pendleton. She worked at several jobs in the area. She was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her daughters Janice (Jorgen) Odegard and Sandra (Don) Cox; sister Helen Barbee; brothers Harold (Carolyn) Ledig and Jim (Nancy) Leidig; grandchildren Janelle (Tim) Barlow, Cameron Cox and Shannon (Tyler) Dodge; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim in 1994; parents Henry and Hattie Leidig; and brother Robert Leidig.
