HERMISTON Bargain hunters will be chasing deals on the other side of Hermiston after Goodwill Industries moves its store to a new location on July 31.

The store is moving from its current location on Hermiston Avenue to the old movie theater building at 325 W. Theater Lane. The new location will give the store an additional 5,000 square feet of space to work with for a total of 15,517.

One of Goodwills mission services is providing employment and job training for workers with disabilities, but space constraints at the Hermiston Goodwills current location have prevented it from working with people with disabilities. The Theater Lane building will be set up to accommodate disabled employees.

The stores grand opening will run 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on July 31 and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 1-3 with special grand opening deals on merchandise throughout the store. Shoppers who bring in a bag of donations will receive extra discounts.
