Thomas A. Coe

Thomas A. Coe of Sunnyside, Washington, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2013, in Corbett, Oregon, at age 63. He was surrounded by his three loving sisters.

Tom was born on February 7, 1950, in Walla Walla, Washington, to parents Don and Darlene Coe. He attended Mac High and then went to work driving truck for PPG. Tom loved truck driving, hauling a little of everything from feed for cattle to fruit and produce. The true love of his life and companion, Stella Tyler, passed away in June 2013 of a longtime battle with cancer.

Tom is survived by a brother, Tim Coe of Prairie City, Oregon; sisters Sharon Angelo of Corbett, Oregon, Sue Coon of Portland, Oregon, and Gina Schmierer of Vancouver, Washington; a daughter, Peggy Hamlin, and sons Terry Coe, Michael Coe and Donnie Coe; some grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial and celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. at the Milton-Freewater Cemetery. A lunch buffet will follow at the Frazier Farmstead Museum in Milton-Freewater.
