Diaper drive benefits Pregnancy Care Services

Lorabeth Brandhagen recently collected more than 67 packages of diapers and more than $250 for Pregnancy Care Services.
A senior at Baker Early College, Brandhagen organized the diaper drive as part of her senior project.

Stephanie Jones, executive director of Pregnancy Care Services, said Brandhagen put a lot of time and effort into the project.
We were amazed at the response from the community in helping her with this event, Jones said.
In addition, Brandhagen held a raffle for a gift basket featuring items from D&B, Starbucks, The Prodigal Son Brewery & Pub, The Buckin Bean, the Great Pacific Wine & Coffee Co. and Miss Jonis Florals. The winner of the gift basket was Debbie Bagwell of Pendleton.
Pregnancy Care Services is a nonprofit organization that offers practical help to those in unexpected and expected pregnancy. The services include pregnancy tests, peer counseling, options information, referrals and material assistance.
The organization is still accepting diapers and donations. Contributions can be taken to the PCS center at 17 S.W. Frazier Ave., Suite 255, Pendleton. For more information, call 541-276-5757.
