Gregory Dean Williams

Gregory Dean Williams, age 49, a longtime Eastern Oregon resident, passed away at St. Anthonys Hospital August 29, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.

Greg was born October 12, 1963, in Hermiston, Oregon, to Tilden H. Williams and Patricia Kirk Wade. He attended schools in Echo, Stanfield, and Hermiston. He was very active in the local NA chapter and owned and operated Gregs Lawn Care business. He was a car enthusiast, loved watching WWE pro wrestling, and enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by daughter Amy Kennedy and husband Curt of Hermiston; sons Nathaniel and Justin Williams of Pendleton; mother Patricia Wade of Hermiston; sister Gloria Miller and husband Jack of Pilot Rock; sister Janet Henderson of Douglasville, Georgia; sister Terri Weems and husband Bob of Hermiston; brother Steve Williams of Hermiston; grandchildren Lily and Logan Kennedy of Hermiston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tilden H. Williams Jr., and grandparents Tilden Williams Sr. and Corda Keithly Williams, Charles S. Kirk and Esther Adams Kirk, and Kenneth Hutchins and Florence Matteson Hutchins.

A memorial viewing service was held from 12 until 5 on Friday, September 6, 2013, at Pioneer Chapel, Folsom-Bishop, 131 S.E. Byers Ave., Pendleton. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 20, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Stanfield Cemetery.
