Historic Trails Advisory Councill to hold final meeting

ENTERPRISE? The Oregon Historic Trails Advisory Council will hold its third and final meeting of the year Sept. 8.
The meeting will take place at the Wilderness Inn in Enterprise, and is open to the public.

New business to be discussed is:?the proposed perennial wind chaser station to be located southwest of Hermiston and the nearby trails, outreach for trails promotion and Oregon Trail segments on the Umatilla Chemical Depot site.
The advisory council has nine governor-appointed volunteer members and meets three times per year. They advise the governor and governmental agencies on the preservation and use of the historic trails of Oregon.
