Aura imaging helps people ‘see emotions’

HERMISTON – When Sandi Buchanan’s father died last April, she decided to take a pilgrimage from Tillamook to Port Townsend, Wash., to rest, heal and commune with nature.

While there she uncovered something that has led to her new career, aura imaging. It’s a computerized way to read balance in a person’s life.

By placing your left hand on a computer pad, the computer reads the balance of chakras, colors, personality and stresses and even physical problems going on in a person’s body.

“I was amazed by its accuracy,” Sandi said. “It could tell what I was feeling and thinking.”

“It allows people to see what emotions they need to be working on in their lives,” said her husband, Archie.

Sandi and Archie were so impressed with the aura imaging computer that they bought one and started their own business, called Radiant Journeys.

“People go through big journeys in their lives, and that’s where the name came from,” Sandi said.

Though the Buchanans are based in Tillamook, they do travel throughout Oregon, Washington and to Northern California to do aura imaging presentations to groups.

The Buchanans believe that the way for people to achieve total wellness is for them to seek balance in their lives.

“For myself, I believe that Western medicine only puts a Band-Aid on healing. Eastern medicines treat the whole person, the mind, body and spirit,” Sandi said.

“What makes you feel good, is it a walk in the woods? People need to nurture those things,” Archie said.

Last week Sandi and Archie were in Hermiston at the Practically Magical shop in the Hermiston Plaza. About 16 people signed up for personal readings, said shop owner Angela Treadwell.

On Nov. 15, the Buchanans will be in Richland at the Mind, Body and Spirit convention at the Red Lion motel on George Washington Way. The convention will last from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. For more information on Radiant Journeys, call (503) 815-2520 or visit www.RadiantJourneys.net.
