IRRIGON – A graveside service for James Albert Milloy will be held at the Hermiston Cemetery at 11 a.m. Monday.
Mr. Milloy, 53, of Irrigon, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002, at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston.
He was born June 20, 1949, at Longview, Wash., to David and Frances Johnson Milloy.
After high school, he joined the U.S. Marines and served during Vietnam, receiving two Purple Hearts. He later received a commendation for heroism at Escondido, Calif.
Mr. Milloy was a member of Union Local 121 and for many years worked as a foreman at Coyote Springs Coal Fire Plant in Boardman.
He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and watching football.
Survivors include his companion of 11 years, Debbie Goforth, of Irrigon; sons, Jarod Milloy of Hermiston and Andy Milloy of Escondido; his mother, Frances Lundberg of Pasco; brothers, Nelson of Castle Rock, Wash.; Archie of Cathlemet, Wash., Ron of Longview, Wash., and Mark of Portland; sisters, Sharon Weitzel of Hermiston, Sandy Wade of Pasco, Susan Fox and Lynn Milloy, both of Portland, and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, David Milloy.
Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of arrangements.
