SANDY, Utah – Dr. Vernon L. Goller, 70, a Pendleton pediatrician in the 1980s, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at his home in Sandy, Utah.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Union First Ward, 1535 East Creek Road, 7800 South, in Sandy.
Dr. Goller was born June 1, 1932, at Havre, Mont., to Paul and Marie Goller.
On Dec. 11, 1976, he married Constance Uyeyama at El Cerrito, Calif.
He served as a pediatrician in the Navy for 26 years, including two tours in Vietnam as a World Health Organization doctor, and retired as a captain.
Dr. Goller had a pediatric practice in Pendleton from 1982-89.
At the time of his death, he was a pediatrician and boarded neonatologist at the IHC Sandy Clinic and had worked there for 12 years.

His hobbies included gardening, fly fishing, woodworking, stained glass work and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, at the home; Rachel of Syracuse, N.Y, children, Dennis of Orlando, Fla., Chris of Salt Lake City and Tim of Sandy, Utah; and grandchildren, Korilynn, Jaxton and Zachary.
