MILTON-FREEWATER – Debbie and Corky York of Milton-Freewater announce the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Michele York, to Tyler Leroy Barkstrom of Veradale, Wash.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of McLoughlin High School and a 2002 graduate of Washington State University. She works as a teaching assistant at Washington State University.

Barkstrom is the son of Karen and Mike Barkstrom of Aberdeen, Wash. He is a 1997 graduate of Aberdeen High School and a 2002 graduate of Washington State University. He works at Wells Fargo Financial Services of Spokane.

The couple will be married June 21, 2003, at the First Christian Church in Milton-Freewater.
