‘Finding Nemo’ a delight for all, not just children

“Finding Nemo” is a super animated feature. Amazingly, it overshadows “Toy Story” and “Monsters, Inc.” The color and dialogue were great.

The story starts with a pair of Clown fish in the ocean who are expecting a family and moving to a new location. A shark comes along and Marlin, the dad, and one little egg, Nemo, are all that is left.

At school Nemo has a great time but wanders off with some other young fish and, in front of his dad’s very eyes, gets caught in a net and taken.

Marlin swims after the boat for as long as he can but loses sight. He happens upon a beautiful blue fish named Dory who is very friendly and adorable but as forgetful as they come. She can’t remember anything and never gets Nemo’s name correct. Dory helps Marlin try to find Nemo. They find the name and address of the diver, a dentist in Sydney, who took Nemo.

On the trip they run into an assortment or sharks trying to make “fish their friends” and not their food. It’s a great take off on an “AA” meeting. They also come across a group of turtles and a stinging bed of jelly fish.

The movie then switches to Nemo at the Dentist’s office, and to the aquarium of fish he finds himself a part of. They befriend him and attempt to help him get back to the ocean and his dad before Darla, the dentist’s niece comes and takes Nemo home as a present from her Uncle.

This was a great movie and definitely one you will want to buy. It’s not just for kids. I enjoyed it immensely.
