Amon – Cochran

Melissa Amon and Eric Cochran were married Sept. 18, 2004, at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Walla Walla.

The bride is the daughter of Danny and Nancy Amon of Milton-Freewater. Cochran is the son of Harold and Valerie Cochran of Prescott, Wash.

Jessica Towslee was the bride’s honor attendant. Terri Boyd, Laurie Flores, Julie Doty and Stacie Hardin were bridesmaids. Flower girl was Samantha Callos.

Matt Anderson was best man. Mike Hand, Robert Aycock, Cody Jesse and Ian Murdock were groomsmen. Dalton Thompson was ring bearer.

Mothers of the couple served as candlelighters.

The bride graduated from McLoughlin High School in Milton-Freewater in 1998 and from Walla Walla Community College in 2002. She is employed at Regence Blue Shield Insurance in Walla Walla.

Cochran graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1996 and from Wyoming Technical Institute in Laramie, Wyo. in 1998. He is employed with the Cochran family farm.

A reception at Walla Walla Fairgrounds Community Center followed the wedding. The couple took a wedding trip to the Las Vegas Rodeo World Finals in December. They live in College Place.
