Wedding: Ditton – Rothery

Ellen Ditton and Brian Rothery were married May 21, 2005, at the First Christian Church in Hermiston.
The Rev. George Walter presided at the double-ring ceremony.
Ditton is the daughter of Abbie and Tom Ditton of Hermiston. Rothery is the son of Karen and Ed Rothery of Beaverton.
Denise Wilson of Marysville, Calif., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacy Cooley of Boardman, Ericka Mitchell of Hermiston, Amy Ditton of Phoenix, Hayley Rankin of Hermiston, Beth Schreck of Tualatin and Heather McCullum of Hillsboro. Flowergirls were Annabel Mitchell, Violet Mitchell and Reed Middleton of Hermiston.
Best man was Dustin Sievers of Corvallis. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother, Matt Rothery of Portland, the bride’s brother Mark Ditton of Portland, Cody Hager of Beaverton, Matt Picard of Gresham, Ryan Baker of Portland and Shawn McCullum of Hillsboro. Ring bearer was Tristan Mitchell of Hermiston.
Candle lighter was Codi Bowles of Portland. Soloists were Stacy Cooley, Cory Cooley and Joe Lindsay.
The bride wore a strapless gown with a wrap waist and corset-tie back and a fingertip veil. She carried white gerbera daisies and stephanotis.
The bride graduated in 1994 from Hermiston High School and in 1998 from Oregon State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She works as a buyer for Adidas.
Rothery graduated from Reynolds High School in Troutdale in 1995 and from Oregon State University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He works as an industrial engineer.
Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas and Caribbean, the couple reside in Portland.
