Phyllis Fuller, 79, of Portland and formerly of Athena passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007 at the Providence Medical Center in Portland. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 20 at the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home in Milton-Freewater. Private interment will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Payette, Idaho.

Mrs. Fuller was born on Oct. 5, 1928 in Baker, Mont., the daughter of Phillip and Ida (Green) Dunbrasky. She attended schools in South Dakota before her family moved to Ontario. She married Leonard Fuller on May 9, 1949, in Vale.

The couple moved to Pendleton, where Phyllis worked for the State Hospital and was a member of the Salvation Army Church Women’s Home League.

After retirement, the couple moved to Adams and then to Athena before settling in Portland.

Phyllis enjoyed western novels, movies, canning foods, embroidery and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard Fuller of Portland; children Elizabeth “Liz” Partridge of Portland, Phil Fuller of Salem, Phyllis Ann Fisher of Portland, Steve Fuller of Reno, Nev., Carol Sackett of Athena, Randy Fuller of Portland and Robert Fuller of Portland; sisters Rosie Conto of Long Beach, Wash., Lila Kimbrough of Vancouver, Wash.; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Her parents and sisters and brothers Stella Cannon, Laura Ledgerwood, Betty Tashida, Albert, Ivan, Frank and Henry Dunbrasky preceded her in death.
