WALLA WALLA – Bonnie Cox, 60, of Walla Walla died Tuesday, Nov. 20 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the New Beginning Chapel, 822 W. Main, Walla Walla.

Mrs. Cox was born Sep. 12, 1947 in Bend to Alvin E. and Louise H. Kees Hoeft.

She married LaVonne Cox in Milton-Freewater on April 28, 1972. The family resided in Indiana from 1981 to 1994.

Mrs. Cox had worked at the Odd Fellows Home in Walla Walla. She was an avid animal lover and in her spare time enjoyed bingo, computer games, reading and spending time with her children. She was a member of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Alvin Hoeft.

She is survived by her husband; daughters Charity Cox-Hayden of Bristol, Ind., Faith Cox of Walla Walla and Hope Cox of College Place; son Aaron Cox of Elkhart, Ind.; sisters Ellen Fielder of Portland, Maisie Lynch of Kennewick and Nancy Stromberg of Pasco; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Walla Walla Community Hospice or the Blue Mountain Humane Society through the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home, 902 S. Main, Milton-Freewater, OR 97862.

BEBB – Edward “Bill” Bebb, 85, of Athena, died Tuesday at St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla. Bishop Funeral Chapel of Pendleton is in charge of arrangements.

GEISTER – Jerome Geister, 80, of Milton-Freewater died Thursday at Regency at the Park in College Place. Arrangements are pending with Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home of Milton-Freewater.

REDMOND – William Joseph (BJ) Fisher Jr., 44, of Redmond, a graduate of Weston-McEwen High School died Wednesday in Redmond. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at City Center Church in Redmond. A complete obituary will be published Saturday in The East Oregonian.
