Jared Eckman and Trisha Adams

Heppner residents Tonia and Mike Adams, Judy Eckman and Kenny Eckman are announcing the engagement of their children, Trisha Kay Adams and Jared Dean Eckman, also of Heppner.

Trisha is a 2000 graduate of Heppner High School. She attended Albertson College of Idaho in Caldwell, earning a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2004. She will graduate in June from Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine in Portland with her doctorate in medicine.

Jared graduated from Heppner High School in 1999. He earned an associate’s degree in building construction in 2001 from Clackamas Community College in Oregon City. He owns and operates JDE Construction LLC in Heppner.

A May 9, 2009, wedding is planned at the Ruggs Ranch south of Heppner.
