PENDLETON – Warren Louis Nomee-Ganuelas, 3, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, on the Umatilla Indian Reservation near Pendleton. A dressing ceremony was held Monday, Nov. 2 at Burns Mortuary in Pendleton, followed by a rosary and Washat service held that evening at the Mission Longhouse. Burial was held Nov. 3 at the Agency Cemetery.
He was born April 11, 2006, to Belisa Ganuelas and the late Manny Nomee. He had a large, extended family on the Yakama, Coeur d’Alene, Kalispel and Umatilla reservations.
Survivors include his mother, Belisa “B”; younger brother Aiden; grandparents Cara Ganuelas, Lillian Nomee and Tony Surface, Randy Adrian and Martina Nomee; great-grandparents Stephen and Linnea Ganuelas; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by Adeline Burns, John Nomee, Arnold Adrian, Stephen John Ganuelas and great-grandmother Donna.
