FFA chapters set plant sales at schools in Umatilla-Morrow counties

UMATILLA-MORROW COUNTIES — FFA plant sales are preparing to bloom throughout the region. Community members are invited to make purchases and support the local youth programs:

Echo High School

  • 600 E. Gerone St.
  • May 9-11, noon to 4 p.m.

Includes hanging baskets ($30), geraniums ($4), tomato and vegetable starts ($3), various bedding plants ($2). For questions, call 541-376-8436.

Heppner High School

Hermiston High School

Irrigon High School

  • Friday, April 25, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • May 2, 2025, 8-11 a.m.

Features a variety of flowers, 3-inch pots $2 each or six for $10; 5-inch pots $4 each or six for $20; or half-gallon pots for $5. For questions, call 541-922-5551.

Pendleton High School

  • May 16, 4-6:30 p.m.
  • May 17, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Riverside High School

Enter off Columbia Avenue at the back of the school. Features vegetable starts, hanging baskets and bedding plants.

Weston-McEwen High School

  • 450 E. Main St., Athena
  • Wednesday, April 30, 5-7 p.m.

The plant sale is held in conjunction with the Weston-McEwen FFA Alumni Community Farm Fair. It features tractors, animals, vendor booths and free hot dogs. For more information, search Facebook via bit.ly/3EEMuz8.
