Banquet celebrates Hermiston area’s finest

HERMISTON — A night of celebration will honor people who work and live in the greater Hermiston area, including Echo, Stanfield and Umatilla, during the 55th annual Distinguished Service Awards.

Presented by the Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation, the event is Wednesday, March 19, at the Hermiston Community Center, 415 S. Highway 395. The evening begins with a social time at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:15 p.m. and the award presentations at 6:45 p.m.

The meal is prepared by Cookin’ Spoo Style. Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased at Hermiston Parks and Recreation at the community center.
