WASHINGTON, D.C. — Oregon U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley announced Friday, March 7, he will hold five town halls for Oregonians in March, with in-person community conversations in Jackson and Josephine counties on March 16, followed by conversations in Morrow, Gilliam, and Sherman counties on March 18.

The Morrow County town hall starts at 11:30 a.m. at the SAGE Event Center – Great Room, Conference Room C, 101 Olson Road NE, Boardman.

The five events continue Merkley’s 2025 town hall tour of Oregon, where he will hold a community conversation in each of the state’s 36 counties.

“There is nothing like holding town halls directly in the communities where Oregonians live and work to get to the heart of the ideas, issues, and priorities that matter most to them. That’s why I hold a town hall for every Oregon county, every year,” Merkley said in the announcement.

Since taking office in 2009, Merkley has kept his promise to hold an open town hall for each of Oregon’s 36 counties every year. He has held more than 590 town halls.
