Cody Johnson headlines 2025 Pendleton Whisky Music Fest

Kane Brown burst on to the stage July 15, 2023, at Pendleton Whisky Music Fest at the Round-Up Grounds in Pendleton. The headliner for the 2025 event on July 12 is Country Music Association award-winner Cody Johnson.

PENDLETON — The Pendleton Whisky Music Fest returns July 12 to the Pendleton Round-Up Arena with country music award-winner Cody Johnson as the headliner.

Johnson in November 2024 at the 58th Annual Country Music Association Awards won Album of the Year for his album “Leather.”

According to the announcement from Pendleton Whisky Music Fest, musicians Riley Green, Ian Munsick, Jacquie Roar also take the stage, as does three-time Grammy award winner Nelly.

“We’re thrilled to build on the amazing energy Thomas Rhett, Dustin Lynch, Jo Dee Messina, and our 90s throwback artist (Vanilla Ice, Tone Loc and Sugarhill Gang) brought to the stage in 2024 as we welcome fans back to the Pendleton Whisky Music Fest,” Doug Corey, co-organizer of the event, said in the announcement. “With an incredible lineup featuring Cody Johnson, Riley Green, Ian Munsick, Jacquie Roar, and a special performance by Nelly, this year promises to be an unforgettable experience.”

Now in its ninth year, Pendleton Whisky Music Fest fans will be able to camp on site, and a variety of signature drinks and many food options also will be available.

Festivities begin for the event on July 11, with the Friday night kick-off party in downtown Pendleton. The free event runs 6 p.m. midnight and features performers Kurt Van Meter, The Chattahoochees and DJ Sovern-T.
