Milton-Freewater Chamber Downtown Alliance announces new executive director

MILTON-FREEWATER — The Milton-Freewater Chamber Downtown Alliance has a new executive director.

The organization announced Claudia Osorio has stepped into the leadership role effective Jan. 6 and brings with her more than two decades of experience in executive support, educational administration and fundraising. She takes the helm in leading the organization’s efforts to promote economic development, enhance downtown beautification initiatives and cultivate a thriving community spirit in Milton-Freewater.

“I am thrilled to join the MFCDA and contribute to the ongoing prosperity and vibrancy of Milton-Freewater,” Osorio said in the announcement. “I have a deep commitment to fostering a robust and supportive community, and I look forward to collaborating with businesses, organizations and residents to achieve our collective goals.”

Osorio’s career encompasses a wide range of experience, including capital campaign manager, director of student records and executive assistant. She possesses a strong record of accomplishment in event coordination, development of fundraising strategies, fostering strategic relationships and ensuring efficient organizational operations. According to the announcement, one of her key strengths lies in her ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and thrives in multicultural environments.
