Sheriff Terry Rowan to talk about human trafficking in Umatilla County

Bob Stangier received the Pendleton Chamber of Commerce’s first-ever lifetime achievement award on Jan. 27, 2023, during the 66th Annual First Citizens Banquet at the Pendleton Convention Center. The Round-Up Republican Women will give a $1,500 donation to the Pendleton Air Museum on Stangier’s behalf during a special presentation on Oct. 18, 2024, at the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon Hall of Fame.

PENDLETON — Umatilla County Sheriff Terry Rowan will discuss human trafficking in Umatilla County during the upcoming Round-Up Republican Women meeting.

The no-host luncheon gathering is Thursday, Oct. 10, noon at Roosters Country Kitchen, 1515 Southgate Place. In addition, Rowan will share some facts and answer questions regarding his reelection bid.

In addition, the club will present a $1,500 check to the Pendleton Air Museum on behalf of Bob Stangier. The special presentation is Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. at the Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon Hall of Fame, 1114 SW Court Ave.

Everyone is welcome to attend and thank Stangier for his military career and his service to the community. The 100-year-old Pendleton man was a B-25 pilot while serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He is a longtime volunteer at the Pendleton Air Museum.
