Chuck Harwood Bertleson, 75, formerly of Elgin, died Aug. 25, 2024, at his home in Milton-Freewater. He was born Oct. 22, 1948, in La Grande. A graveside service will be Sept. 28, 10:30 a.m. at the Summerville Cemetery; a celebration of life follows at 2 p.m. at the Milton-Freewater Jr. Show Grounds, 84487 Highway 11.
