BEND — A Grant County student has been recognized for academic achievement at Central Oregon Community College.

Rylee Browning, of Canyon City, has been named to the COCC dean’s list for spring term. The distinction is reserved for students who maintain a grade point average of 3.6 or higher while taking 12 or more credits of coursework.

Browning is pursuing an associate’s degree in biology.
