HELIX — The Helix Heart of the Country Rodeo kicks off Saturday, June 1, 12:30 p.m. at Quantum 9 Arena in Helix.

Adults 21 and older can get primed for the rodeo action during the Cowboy Calcutta. Participants can bid on rough stock riders on Friday, May 31, 7 p.m. at the Rainbow Cafe, 209 S. Main St. Pendleton. The event also includes live music.

The rodeo features bareback, saddle bronc, bull riding, 12 and under barrel racing and mutton bustin’ for the kids. Tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for ages 6-12 and free for ages 5 and under. Also, Wanderlost will perform after the rodeo.
