I worked very closely with Joseph through the entire development process of Round-Up Retail. From determining the project delivery method to contracting and design development, he guided our Round-Up team in creating then constructing the project. He committed all resources to the process resulting in our great facility. Joe also was involved in the early design also providing estimates and to LKV an architectural firm for the FARM II project (now the Blue Mountain Equine Center).

Joe graduated from PHS in 1985 and then received a double major degree from Eastern Oregon University. Since he moved back to Pendleton seven years ago, he has been very busy. Joe has given his life to public service, on the city of Pendleton Planning Commission, as president of RCDC and to help grow McCormack Construction in Pendleton.

His efforts for RCDC have resulted in a huge future tourism attraction in the Youth Sports Complex in receiving $3 million for Pendleton in the Legislative short session this winter. Joe also volunteered to coach a Majors Little League team and he was an all-star coach.

Joe has led large teams of professionals, decades of public meetings and teams with over 400 members in developing large projects all over the Pacific Northwest, improving other towns and college campuses — and he will now do so in his hometown. His 35 years of successful development and economic growth experience will help the city to thrive, and he is the right candidate to keep the city growing in the right direction. He cares deeply about our community and will bring that same passion to the mayor position.
