BURBANK, Wash. — A 19-year-old Burbank woman has been charged with six counts of second-degree rape of a child, and one count third-degree child molestation, according to court documents.

Ashley M. Moedano-Padilla is accused of multiple instances of sexual relations with a minor, beginning when the minor was 13.

Moedano-Padilla was an adult when the alleged abuse began.

According to court documents, the victim told police the relations were consensual. In Washington, minors younger than 16 cannot legally consent to sexual activity.

Moedano-Padilla is scheduled to be arraigned in Walla Walla County Superior Court on Monday, Oct. 30. She has been released on her own recognizance.
