Wednesday, Oct. 11

4 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle was parked on West Eighth Road and Gravel Pit Lane, Irrigon, that he saw a couple of times before. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded and asked the driver to go home for the night.

6:57 a.m. Pendleton police received a report of burglary on the first block of Northeast Eighth Street.

1:14 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Ione Community Clinic, Ione, of a woman who reported her husband has been missing for three days.

8:14 p.m. A Morrow County sheriff’s sergeant at East Second and C streets, Ione, connected two dirt bike riders and advised them not to operate the machines on the street.

10:42 p.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a taxi driver was concerned the older man he dropped off at the Shell station in Irrigon seemed confused and didn’t know where his car was. The caller asked the sheriff’s office to check on the man and call back afterward.

Thursday, Oct. 12

6:48 a.m. Hermiston police received a report of graffiti on Northwest Third Street.

6:55 a.m. A caller reported gunshots at Rio Senda Drive and El Monte Street, Umatilla.

8:46 a.m. A 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance on the 500 block of Southwest 11th Street, Pendleton.

9:06 a.m. Pendleton police received a report of a domestic disturbance at Southwest Hailey Avenue and Fifth Street.

9:08 a.m. A 911 caller reported a fight on Southwest Fifth Street, Pendleton.

10:13 a.m. A caller reported someone dumped an elk calf in the ditch by the gravel pit on Highway 207, Lexington.

10:28 a.m. Pendleton police received a report of a disturbance at People Helping People Pendleton LLC on Westgate Place.

11:14 a.m. A caller reported a possible body on the eastbound side of Interstate 84 between mileposts 161 and 161. Local emergency services responded, and an ambulance took one person to a hospital.

11:38 a.m. A Hermiston resident on West Locust Avenue asked to talk to an officer about the theft of his vehicle. Police took a report.

12:34 p.m. A Umatilla police officer investigated graffiti on a white slat fence at Highway 730 and Powerline Road.

1:10 p.m. A caller on Washington Lane, Irrigon, reported hearing a scream and three gunshots from a nearby residence. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded an found a resident shot at a neighbor’s dogs that were attacking her.

4:32 p.m. Pendleton police received a report of child abuse/neglect.

4:54 p.m. A resident on West Orchard Avenue reported he has video of someone taking a package off his porch at 4:43 p.m.

5:18 p.m. A caller reported a male was looking into cars on Sloan Avenue, Umatilla.

6:52 p.m. A caller reported a fight on South First Street, Irrigon, involving three people armed with knives and guns.

7:15 p.m. A caller at Western Auto Home & Appliance, Pendleton, reported the theft of a vehicle.

7:36 p.m. Pendleton police received a report of a vehicle theft at Hines Meat Co. on Southwest Dorion Avenue.

9:05 p.m. A caller reported a burglary on the 30 block of Northwest Fifth Street, Pendleton. Police responded and took a report.

9:45 p.m. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report about criminal mischief on South Mill Street, Ukiah.

10:49 p.m. A 911 caller reported he was hunting with his children and came back to camp at Shaw Grade and Willow Creek roads, Heppner, and there were drunk people ready to dump garbage in the camp. The caller reported shooting a stump to scar them off.

The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Luis Alejandro Ramirez, 19, for first-degree theft.

Oct. 13

Umatilla police arrested Moses Jermaine Dubose, 39, for second-degree burglary, third-degree theft and on warrants for fail to appear.
