Friday, Sept. 22
3:49 a.m. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about a domestic disturbance on Adams Road, Pendleton.
6:19 a.m. A caller reported an assault on the 1400 block of North First Place, Hermiston. Police responded but did not find anyone involved.
10:52 a.m. A caller reported a person in a white 1999 Honda Accord on Peters Road, Boardman, was shooting a gun into the air. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report.
1:13 p.m. Hermiston police received a report of a burglary on the 200 block of West Beech Avenue. Police took a report.
1:53 p.m. A caller reported a burglary on Highway 11, Pendleton.
2:28 p.m. A 911 caller reported an assault on Brownell Boulevard, Umatilla. Police were unable to locate anyone involved.
6:02 p.m. A caller reported an armed person at East Harding Avenue and North Main Street, Stanfield.
6:48 p.m. A resident on Northeast Ninth Street, Irrigon, reported he was gone for several days and came home to find there was a break-in at his shed. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation.
9:36 p.m. A 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance on Northwest Elder Street, Pilot Rock.
10:50 p.m. Local emergency services received a report of a vehicle that rolled on Highway 74, Lexington, with two people inside. The driver hurt her head and was having chest pains, and the passenger may have had an injured hand. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report.
Saturday, Sept. 23
2:39 a.m. A caller reported a burglary on the 600 block of West Ridgeway Avenue, Hermiston.
8:09 a.m. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of six horses in the road at East Ballou Road and Highway 11, Milton-Freewater.
11:22 a.m. A 911 caller reported a male the day before on Cactus Drive, Hermiston, tried to stab his uncle.
12:33 p.m. A resident on Rand Road, Irrigon, reported her cows were pushing down the fence between her property and the neighbor’s. She said she didn’t know until the neighbor came over, yelled at her and threatened to “take care of the cows” if she did not get a handle on them. She said the neighbor this morning shot near the cows to scare them.
4:24 p.m. A caller reported an assault on the first block of Southwest 11th Street, Hermiston.
1:45 p.m. A caller reported the theft of a vehicle from the Out West Motel, Milton-Freewater.
3:27 p.m. A 911 caller reported a burglary at Oak and Meacham Lake lanes, Meacham. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report.
5:07 p.m. A 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance on East Elm Avenue, Hermiston.
10:14 p.m. A caller in Milton-Freewater reported the theft of a white 2002 Chevrolet Suburban that occurred sometime in the evening of Sept. 21 from the back lot of a local business on the 100 block of North Main Street.
Sunday, Sept. 24
2:35 a.m. A 911 caller reported being mugged as he came out of the Village Restaurant, Boardman.
2:37 a.m. A 911 caller reported a vehicle crash on Appleton Road, Milton-Freewater. Local law enforcement made an arrest.
5:31 a.m. A 911 caller at Mojave Court and Anderson Road, Boardman, reported being threatened by someone with a knife. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report.
10:39 a.m. A caller reported a burglary on the 1900 block of North First Street, Hermiston. Police took a report.
2:17 p.m. A resident on the 300 block of South Main Street, Milton-Freewater, reported the theft of a Coleman Tallman 1750 Generator from his backyard sometime after 10 p.m. Sept. 23.
3:49 p.m. A caller at the Family Dollar, Boardman, reported a male came in and said he swallowed a thorny weed and was bleeding internally. An ambulance responded and transported the patient.
8:07 a.m. A 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance on Culp Lane, Hermiston.
11:37 a.m. A caller reported an assault on the 700 block of West Hermiston Avenue, Hermiston.
3:37 p.m. Hermiston police received a report of an assault on the 500 block of Southwest 13th Place. Police took a report.
5:14 p.m. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary on the 2900 block of Northeast Riverside Avenue, Pendleton.
10:07 p.m. A 911 caller reported a domestic disturbance on Fifth Street, Umatilla.
Arrests, citations
Sept. 21
Umatilla police arrested Christopher Allen Cooley, 41, for first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft and on a parole violation.
Sept. 23
Umatilla Tribal Police arrested Ethan J. Tappo, 22, for public intoxication, escape, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, menacing and disorderly conduct.
Sept. 24
The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Julio Emmanuel Angeles Marin, 21, for driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol) and reckless driving.
Pendleton police arrested Marjay Caja Taylor Jr., 28, for fourth-degree assault.
Oregon State Police arrested Kevin Dennis Lee, 36, for DUII (alcohol) and reckless driving.
