Neurologist discusses Parkinson’s treatment options

PENDLETON — A free program will provide information about treatments, ongoing research studies and how to maintain hope while facing Parkinson’s disease.

Dr. Lauren Talman, a movement disorders neurologist at Oregon Health & Science University, will present Hope in Parkinson’s. Hosted by Parkinson’s Resources of Oregon, the event is Thursday, Sept. 28, 2-3:30 p.m. in Pioneer Hall Room 132 at Blue Mountain Community College, 2411 N.W. Carden Ave., Pendleton.

Talman joined the OHSU Parkinson Center team in 2019. In addition to working as an active clinician, she’s also involved in clinical research and serves as an educator at OHSU and in the community.
