STANFIELD — School starts Monday, Aug. 21, for the Stanfield School District.

Stanfield Elementary and Secondary schools were approved for the federal Community Eligibility Provision, granting all Tigers free breakfast and lunch at school.

Stanfield School District Superintendent Beth Burton posted information regarding the district’s bus routes on the school’s live feed, which can be found on its website, www.stanfield.k12.or.us.

“We are working really hard to avoid shrinking routes or enforcing the ‘Walk Zone,'” according to Burton. Those students in grades K-8 who live within 1 mile of the school would be ineligible for bus transportation. High school students who live within 1.5 miles would be ineligible.”
