Ned and Valetta (Gammond) Davis were married on April 30, 1948. The couple celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary during a celebration hosted by their children, John, Patricia, James, and Patrick and Betty Rae; on April 30, 2023, at Adams Community Church.

The couple resided in the Pendleton area, raising their four children, while enjoying their lives and careers. Ned sold real estate for 30 years until he retired. Valetta sold advertising for the East Oregonian and KUMA.
